St Abbs Village Shop - Post Office - Dive Shop
Village Shop
St Abbs has had a shop in the village since 1890. The shop and Post Office on Murrayfield is owned and run by Carol & William Isherwood. They moved to the village 18 years ago and continue to serve the community to this day. Though unlike the original owners, they no longer sell parafin and don't need to use a donkey and cart to take in their supplies!
This a really well-stocked shop selling almost anything and everything you may require:
Milk and bread freshly delivered daily, the usual basic groceries, fresh fruit and veg as well as tinned and frozen. Snacks, crisps, chilled drinks, ice creams and confectionery (including traditional sweets in jars!). Newspapers and magazines. If you are staying we can have your usual daily paper reserved for you to collect. Souvenirs, postcards, locally written childrens books, as well as books of the local area and Ordanance Survey maps. We also sell locally produced maps in aid of the Coldingham Priory Fund.
They also offer visitors a Nescafe to Go coffee machine and Lottery sales.
Most importantly the hope is that you'll leave the shop with a smile on your face, wondering 'how do they fit all that into one little shop?!'.

Dive Centre
They can supply you with most things that you might have lost or broken, or just something you fancy, at very competitive prices. If they haven't got what you need in stock, they will endeavour to get it in for you.
A repair service is operated by a highly experienced technician. A free of charge service, all they ask is that you make a donation to the St Abbs Lifeboat Station and pay for any parts required. The policy is to keep you diving if they can. They live on the premises so you can, in an emergency, knock on the back door, which frequently happens.
They are agents for Divers Warehouse and carry an extensive range of equipment and spares in stock; log books, local area dive books, snorkels, gloves, straps, torches, watches, whistles, O rings, masks, regulators, compassess, belts, strobes, fins, weights, marker buoys, flags, pressure hoses (LP & HP). The only equipment they do not have to sell over the counter are cylinders and wet/ dry suits, however, they can order these for you.
